About meKatie Fosselius, LCSW, LAC
With over 20 years in this field, I've walked alongside people carrying trauma they thought they'd never escape, battling addictions that once felt like the only way to survive, and living with anxiety and depression that made each day feel like a mountain to climb.
And I've watched them heal. Not just cope but heal.
That's what keeps me doing this work. The privilege of witnessing someone discover that the patterns that have defined them don't have to be permanent. That the pain they've carried since childhood can finally be set down. That they can stop just surviving and start truly living.
How I Work
I'm a person-centered, strengths-based psychodynamic therapist with a flair for the somatic. I focus on you—your story, your strengths, your goals—and prioritize creating a bond where you feel safe and healing becomes possible.
Our work goes beyond talk therapy. I offer somatic grounding techniques like breathwork and mindfulness, and draw from evidence-based approaches including ACT and faith-based interventions when appropriate. Everything is tailored to what serves you best.

Faith-Based Treatment (when appropriate)
My Training & Credentials:

Working TogetherWhen I'm not in session, you'll find me spending time with my family, getting lost in a good book, hiking Colorado's beautiful trails, or practicing restorative yoga. These practices remind me of the importance of balance, rest, and staying connected to what matters—lessons I bring into my work with you.
If you've read this far, something here probably resonated with you. Maybe it's the focus on depth work. Maybe it's the commitment to understanding trauma at its roots. Maybe it's simply knowing that someone believes healing is possible for you.
Whatever brought you here, I'm glad you're exploring this. Taking the first step toward therapy, especially the kind that goes deep, takes courage.
